A Skilled Team of NC General Contractors
Known for professionalism, a diverse set of services and a friendly approach, Hatchell Concrete in North Carolina has served the Outer Banks and the northeastern portion of the state since 1988. Born from humble beginnings, our original brother-brother concrete business grew and developed over the decades to become a leader in concrete and contracting services. Today, Hatchell Concrete is a full-functioning team of concrete contractors and NC general contractors, boasting a sizeable crew, high-tech equipment and multiple fleets of work trucks. Hatchell Concrete in North Carolina is fully insured and bonded and holds a state general contracting license (#34205) with unlimited limitation and unclassified classification. With the capabilities for site utility services, all-around site work and, yes, our concrete services, we can meet the evolving needs over the course of a project.
Hatchell Concrete has been a go-to choice for laying concrete in parks and for building sidewalks and large-scale sites for decades. Installing waterlines and storm drains plays a major role in our skillset as NC general contractors, and we’re regularly subcontracted within large-scale projects to work on site utilities. Our regular bids go for all-around site work, such as erosion control, installing waterlines, storm drains and additionally site utility projects, including pump houses and booster stations.
NC General Contractor Projects
Our past projects include pieces of invaluable infrastructure that support the Outer Banks’ fragile environment and the communities living here. Drive around the area, and you’ll see us in action – from concrete work on the Marc Basnight Bridge over the Oregon Inlet to the Corolla Greenway, Hatchell Concrete’s reach spans the island. For just a few examples of what we can do, look to Manteo Middle School and Manteo High School, Dare County Administrative Building, the Roanoke Island Welcome Center and Oasis Suites in Nags Head. Beyond that, however, we’re instrumental in the structure of popular Outer Banks attractions and businesses. We worked with H2OBX (North Carolina’s newest waterpark) on the Currituck mainland, and for attractions closer to home, we played a part in parks around the Outer Banks, including park and event space at Dowdy Park in Nags Head.
As both concrete professionals and NC general contractors, Hatchell Concrete’s versatility covers many sides and stages of a project. And our small, family-business model guarantees a personal touch on every job we complete
